Andrew Liteplo

Dr. Andrew Liteplo, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Liteplo is the Chief of the Division of Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

He is a Past-President of the Academy of Emergency Ultrasound of SAEM, an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Clinical Ultrasound Fellowships, and has been involved with WINFOCUS since its first year.

His areas of research include lung ultrasound, critical care ultrasound, and gamification of ultrasound education.

Dr. Liteplo finds creative outlets in the sphere of ultrasound and founded SonoGames, the SAEMMYs (AEUS Research Awards), the SCUF Annual Conference, and mostly recently the Ultrasound Alphabet poster! He is an avid traveler, aspiring chef, and lover of puzzles.

He lives in Brookline, Massachusetts with his wife Dr. Daniela Ramirez and their two sons Nico and Diego.
