Antonio Riera, MD

Antonio Riera completed pediatric residency at Weill Cornell-New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.

He is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Yale University School of Medicine, and an Attending Physician at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital.

He is the Director of Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound and Fellowship Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine POCUS Fellowship at Yale.

He serves as an Education Co-Chair for the P2 Network – a multinational organization that serves as a platform for sharing expertise, building research collaborations, and offering mentorship in pediatric point-of-care ultrasound in the information age of medicine.

Dr. Riera’s clinical and research interests include the use of point-of-care ultrasonography to improve health care outcomes in children.
