Brigitta Fazzini BSc(Hons), PgDiP DTN, MSc, NMP(V300), FICM(m)
Brigitta is an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner in the Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) at the Royal London Hospital and an honorary research fellow with Queen Mary University of London.
She originally graduated in Italy in 2013 and then moved to London working within ACCU since 2014.
During these years she has developed and consolidated experience in intensive care and critical care outreach alongside two academic awards including the Critical Care MSc and the Advanced Clinical Practice MSc.
Alongside her clinical commitment, she works with the Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine Research Group since 2020. Her interest lies in applied and translational research including acute respiratory failure, non-invasive respiratory support, respiratory diagnostic, muscle dysfunction in critical illness and acquired functional disability.
She is the Deputy Chair of the UK Intensive Care Society (ICS) Professional Advisory Group for Advanced Practitioners in Critical Care advising the ICS governing council on national policy, guidelines, position statements and education.
