Dr. Dana Sajed, M.D.
Dr. Sajed is an Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Director of the Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship at LA County+USC Hospital.
Dr. Sajed earned his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego, then did his residency in emergency medicine at the SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital program in Brooklyn, NY; this was followed by an Emergency Ultrasound fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Sajed has been faculty in emergency medicine at Harvard Medical School, the University of Washington, and New York University prior to his arrival at USC. His research interests are focused on the use of point-of-care ultrasound in resource limited environments and he has taught students and doctors the use of bedside ultrasound in 13 countries on six continents.
