Dr David Troxler
Attending physician in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) at the University Children’s Hospital Basel, Switzerland (UKBB).
He studied medicine in Basel and Lausanne with a foreign exchange year in Valencia (Spain).
After training in Paediatrics in Fribourg and Geneva, he specialized in Paediatric Emergency Medicine in Basel.
In addition to his clinical work, David Troxler leads an independent research series focusing on Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) research in Paediatric Emergency Medicine especially fracture ultrasound research.
He is equally invested in teaching and education of graduate and undergraduate medical students and nurses.
He is a board member of the Swiss Society for Ultrasound in Paediatrics.
