Enyo Ama Ablordeppey MD, MPH is an associate professor of Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, Missouri USA.
She received her medical school and public health training at the University of Pittsburgh and then completed fellowships in critical care medicine and emergency ultrasound at Washington University.
She developed a robust critical care ultrasound training program and is the director of emergency ultrasound research with focus in Implementation Science.
Her research interests focus on understanding the behavioral and systems adaptations required to increase the uptake of evidence into healthcare practices for critically ill patients.
Current projects include ultrasound-guided catheter confirmation protocol, decrease foley utilization in the ICU, and focused transesophageal echocardiography in cardiac arrest.
Her research goal is to improve care for critically ill patients by developing and modifying implementation and de-implementation strategies that optimize health care delivery and avoid medical over utilization.
