Gráinne Donnelly BSc, PgC, MSc

Gráinne Donnelly is an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner working within private practice and clinical research in N. Ireland, UK.

She worked for 13 years in the NHS as a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist and the Team Lead across a health trust. She now concentrates on advancing physiotherapy practice via research and education.

She is an Associate member of the Perinatal Physical Activity Research Group at Canterbury Christ Church University and is co-editor of the Journal of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy.

She was part of a team who developed the first Scope of Practice Framework for physiotherapists using Point of Care Ultrasound in pelvic health pathways in the UK and she teaches introductory level courses for physiotherapists developing their skills in Point of Care Ultrasound.

Her recent research project to complete a Masters in Advancing Practice in Physiotherapy via the Ulster University, N. Ireland, utilised trasnperineal Point of Care Ultrasound.
