Dr. Guido Tavazzi, M.D.

Guido Tavazzi had graduated in Medical School at university of Pavia in 2008, completed his specialization in Anesthesia and Intensive care in 2014 and achieving a PhD in heart-lung interaction on extra-corporeal support in 2016.

Dr. Tavazzi has spent more than 2 years at Royal Brompton Hospital (London, UK) as clinical, echocardiographic and research fellow focusing on advanced echocardiographic techniques in cardiogenic shock and extracorporeal circulation.

He is part of the European Society of Cardiology – Acute cardiovascular care association since 2014, Chair of the young community and member of the Research Network since 2020. Additionally, Dr. Tavazzi is part of the ESICM- EDEC steering committee.

Dr. Tavazzi is author and co-author of more than one hundred publications on indexed and peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and educational modules on hemodynamic monitoring, cardiogenic shock, echocardiography and lung ultrasound in the acute cardiac and respiratory settings.
