Dr. Jeffrey A. Kramer, M.D.
Dr. Kramer is an Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree and completed emergency medicine residency training at the MCP/Hahnemann School of Medicine/Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, he is finishing a Master of Science degree in Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He serves as the Director of Emergency Ultrasound at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and as the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Director at the University of Pennsylvania. Working with International Needs Network Ghana, he acts as the Medical Director for a program that runs mobile medical clinics for communities that have little or no access to healthcare in the Volta Region of Ghana. Dr. Kramer is an active member of the American College of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Section. Dr. Kramer is passionate about medical education, curriculum development, and enhancing clinical care with ultrasound within his clinical practice in West Africa. When not teaching or practicing medicine, Dr. Kramer likes to spend his time skiing and mountain biking with his wife and three teenage daughters, running marathons, and training for long distance triathlons.
