Joshua C. Reynolds, MD, MS
Joshua C. Reynolds, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
Dr. Reynolds attended University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (2008), completed residency at University of Maryland (2011), and returned to University of Pittsburgh for a two-year research fellowship through the Institute for Clinical Research Education (2013).
Dr. Reynolds is board certified in Emergency Medicine and practices at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI (United States).
His primary academic efforts relate to cardiac arrest and post-resuscitation care, but he is interested in all matters within the scope of resuscitation science.
Dr. Reynolds has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. His early career projects received several Young Investigator Awards at the American Heart Association Resuscitation Science Symposium.
Dr. Reynolds sits on the Advanced Life Support Task force of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the Editorial Board for Resuscitation.
He is also the site lead investigator at Spectrum Health for the Strategies to Innovate Emergency Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN).
More recently, he authored two seminal systematic reviews on the prognostic accuracy and diagnostic test
accuracy of point-of-care ultrasound assessment during cardiac arrest resuscitation.
