Lisandro Montorfano is a General Surgeon who is currently doing a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He completed medical school with honors at the National University of Rosario, in Argentina.
He moved to the United States in 2014 and worked as a Minimally Invasive Surgery Research Fellow for two years at the Cleveland Clinic Florida before joining as a General Surgery Resident at the same institution.
During his residency, he received numerous awards for academic excellence and during his final year, he worked as
administrative Chief Resident.
He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, national and international presentations, book chapters, and magazine articles.
He is an educator of the World Interactive Network Focus on Critical Ultrasound (WINFOCUS) since 2015 and has participated in training activities in several countries. His main interests are POCUS in reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and pediatric plastic surgery.
