Nour Al Jalbout is the Assistant Fellowship Director at the Harvard Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Program, and Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the Harvard Medical School.
She completed her residency at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2019 where she served as the Chief Resident for the academic year of 2017-2018.
Shortly after graduating, she joined the faculty at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in Lebanon where she practiced for 2 years, witnessing the Beirut Port Explosion, multiple riots and one of most severe economic collapses in history, working with tight resources and under a fragile healthcare infrastructure.
She then moved to Boston where she completed her Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship at the Harvard Emergency Ultrasound Program, Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Al Jalbout currently works as a full time attending physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Emergency Department.
She is actively involved in multiple research projects focusing on ultrasound in simulation and medical education, POCUS training in low resource environments, and critical resuscitation and advanced echocardiography focusing on transesophageal echocardiography use and training in the emergency department.
