Onyinyechi Eke, MD, MPH

Dr. Onyinyechi Eke completed her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, College Park and received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore.

After residency training in emergency medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, she completed a fellowship in emergency ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, and an MPH with a focus on epidemiology and biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr Eke currently serves as faculty and director of global ultrasound in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Her research interests include the development of point-of-care ultrasound education and training in resource-limited settings, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and the efficient utilization of point-of-care ultrasound to facilitate patient care in the emergency department.
