Dr. Peter Weimersheimer, MD FACEP

Dr. Peter Weimersheimer is an emergency physician and Professor of Surgery at the University of Vermont, USA. He is the founder and Director of the UVM EM Clinical Ultrasound Program and Regional Ultrasound Director of a seven hospital regional emergency medical system.

He has over 20 years of experience in clinical ultrasound and ultrasound education. His interests include thoracic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, ultrasound education, and use of ultrasound in resource limited settings.
