Rachel Liu

Dr. Rachel Liu

Dr. Liu is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and the emergency ultrasound fellowship director at the Yale School of Medicine.

She also serves as the Director of Point of Care Ultrasound Education for Yale.

She focuses on designing curricula and implementing ultrasound to benefit basic, physical and clinical science teaching to medical students.

She is interested in innovative methods of education, including game creation for the SAEM SonoGames© and the AIUM SonoSlam©.

She has served in leadership positions with every major EM organization in the USA, including as the Chair of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Emergency Ultrasound Section.
