Youdong Sohn

Youdong Sohn, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Sohn is a clinical professor from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital, Seoul, Korea.

He has over 20 years of expertise in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine in South Korea and United Arab Emirates.

He has trained at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea and started his professor career at Keimyung University, Hallym University, and Seoul National University. And he got Ph.D. at Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, Korea in resuscitation science.

His enthusiasm for Point-of-care ultrasound is all about the acute care for critically ill patients and training practitioners.

He is a member of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine, the Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Society of Emergency & Critical Care Imaging. And he is also a faculty of the Korean Association of CPR and the American Heart Association.
